So I’m super super duper excited about my birthday that is coming up! It’s actually a little less than two weeks from now, but I was too happy about it to wait on this post! So I will be turning 18, which isn’t the most exciting thing ever, but it still makes me feel all adultish. As far as my birthday goes, I usually just get one main item from my mom, one from my aunt and uncle, and one from my dad and stepmom. The only thing I have really asked for is the Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C Clutch which I would carry like a cross-body bag. Other than that I will be 100% surprised which makes it so much more fun in my opinion! Every year my mom will usually get me a little item that is birthday related. Like a birthday cake charm or birthday cake bath bomb. I think it’s such a cute idea, and I wanted to share some little birthday goodies with you guys! These would all make perfect gifts for any girl out there!
To start us off is Philosophy’s Vanilla Birthday Cake shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath. This stuff smells sooo good! I would not recommend using this as a shampoo, but it’s wonderful as a shower gel or bubble bath! I think this would adorable with a pretty birthday bow tied around it and given as a simple gift to a girlfriend. I would love to receive this (hint, hint, mom!) as a gift by itself. The scent makes me feel like I’m floating on a big birthday cloud with delicious vanilla icing.
This Bare Escentuals Birthday Cake Lip Gloss is another cute little gift idea. You could even purchase this along with another beauty item to make it a sweet birthday package. So this is described as a fruit punch color, and I would completely agree with that. It’s a beautiful magenta with blue undertones and golden shimmer. This shade would look good on anyone, and every girl needs a hot pink gloss!
I think this Betsey Johnson Tzar Cupcake Pendant Long Necklace is so stinkin’ precious! It’s just a long gold chain with a little cupcake locket type charm and a small pink rhinestone bow accent on the side. I love dainty, cutesy necklaces like this, and I think it would be really cool to layer it with some other funky chains. I think Betsey also has a similar cupcake bracelet if the girl on your list isn’t a big necklace fan.
Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit is a product that I have known and loved for quite some time now. It’s the perfect champagne nude that doesn’t budge one bit after application. If you have a BFF that is makeup obsessed (like me!) this would be a great little gift to give. We all need a great shadow that is the perfect color and has awesome staying power! Plus, this is a definitely a gift that keeps on giving. This little pot will last you forever!
If I could pick any of these products for a b-day I would have to pick the Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday glitter nail polish! I am a total nail polish junkie, and I have been DYING to dip my fingers into this polish. Even though glitter filled lacquers are a pain to take off, I still adore them. This polish is like a party on your nails, and with the rainbow colors I’m pretty sure I would be wearing it all the time!
I used to not be such a big fan of graphic tees, but they are really starting to grow on me. I think you can layer them under cardigans and come out with such a fun look! This Stay Sweet Tee from Forever21 is so so adorable! I love the cupcake man, and the light coral color is perfect for Spring! This is a comfy top that could be worn so many different ways. You really just can’t go wrong with this one!
